   Institutions of higher learning must play its role by producing knowledge workers with the prerequisite skills to meet the human resource demand of industry. Industries in need of IT knowledge workers are now approaching universities by supporting them with various funds and facilities. Some companies have joint partnerships with institutions of higher learning by establishing facilities and conducting R&D and initiating exchange programmes.
